Valeriia Turchyna

Hi, I’m Valeriia Turchyna, a dog trainer, dog behavior and water sports enthusiast, and a happy owner of Ahava, a Belgian Malinois.

My journey started at a dog school, where I worked on everyday behavior issues, obedience, and fun tricks. That experience taught me the basics of building real communication with dogs and gave me the tools to help owners in their daily life with their pets.

With Ahava, I train in obedience and love trying out different dog sports. This hands-on experience helps me truly understand the challenges owners face — and it inspires me to guide others in creating a strong, joyful bond with their dogs.

For me, training is all about trust and connection. I use positive, modern methods that avoid punishment and focus instead on motivation, teamwork, and making the process fun for both the dog and the owner.
